Chase Young returns home to DMV to hold football camp

Maryland native defensive end Chase Young still prioritizes giving back to the community that raised him.

Young returned to the DMV this previous summer, holding his third annual football camp at the Fields at RFK Stadium.

Hundreds of kids from through the DMV participated in the camp. According to Young’s representatives, more than 600 participated.

Many assisted Young at the camp, including fellow Maryland native running back Jarret Patterson, who also played with the Commanders and is now with the Los Angeles Chargers. Patterson and Young played together at St. Vincent Pallotti before Young transferred to DeMatha.

With his roots strong in the Washington, D.C. area, Young said it was important for him to continue holding the event, even though he’s now moved from the area.
